FREESTILE tiles are produced with a flat woven fabric, measuring 50 x 50 cm, with an overall weight of approximately 3,700 g/m² and a thickness of about 5.0 mm. SBA Group, one of the largest business groups in Lithuania, operates in the furniture, apparel production, and real estate sectors. Their central headquarters is located in the Green Hall Business Valley in Vilnius, Lithuania. The vibrant offices, designed by Swiss architects Evolution Design in collaboration with the Lithuanian studio Heima, reflect SBA’s forward-thinking approach to innovation and production while incorporating visual references to Lithuanian folklore.
In addition to several large open-plan workspaces, the office features medium-sized meeting rooms and flexible workshop areas. Special attention was given to individual and private workspaces to support focused work. FREESTILE carpet tiles complement the innovative workspaces at SBA Group. The acoustic tiles are particularly suitable for heavily frequented areas and can be installed flexibly—without the need for permanent bonding—allowing for a versatile approach to workspace design.
The office of the consultancy firm Stadkwadraat, based in the Dutch city of De Bilt, received an upgrade of a sustainable nature in 2020. In addition to solar panels on the roof, all the lighting was replaced with LED lights. The interior has been brightened up with floor coverings from OBJECT CARPET, using the design carpet tiles of the FREESTILE collection to remain in keeping with the new corporate identity.
