Working with yarns and fibers Christel developed Vector by combining subtle and dimensional yarns with a soft faded aesthetic in a range of distinct densities and transitions.
The hand crafted interlayer design takes the fine strands in Vector and wraps them vertically and suspends the yarns in Varia Eco Resin creating a fascinating interlayer design. The fully handmade process and the natural irregularity of the Vector yarns are a unique feature of the design. Vector yarns can create interesting natural light effects in a room as the fibers catch the light and shade, projecting an unusual visual effect.
Sophisticated neutral colors in six designs and transitions, Vector yarns create unbelievable depth and dimensionality. By controlling the scale and rhythm of the pattern repeat, the color combination and the yarn density, this intriguing material design changes its perspective when viewed from close up or from a distance.
