The insulating glass specialist OKALUX is bringing its extensive know-how from the façade to the interior for the BAU 2013. The new OKALUX Interior business unit includes decorative glass wall cladding, frameless room dividers and light partition systems – and high-end system solutions for interior design under the name of OKAFRAME. This product range built up as a modular principle allows architects and interior designers to choose the perfect glass solutions and inserts and integrate these in framing systems of steel, stainless steel or aluminum. Numerous combinations allow bespoke solutions for every room situation. OKAFRAME unites functional properties with aesthetic aspects thus maximizing the possibilities of design.
Depending on the design, OKAFRAME systems fulfill additional functions such as sound protection, good acoustics, optimal light conditions and flexible organization. They achieve modern construction values and can be suited to the highest requirements on fire protection, burglary resistance and UV protection.
The choice of glass alone has a strong influence on the quality of heat protection, acoustics and sound protection. The sound protection offered by OKAFRAME meets German Standard 4109. Rw values are defined by glass thickness, laminated glass build-up, cavities, asymmetric glass build-up respectively the build-up of the substructure. We offer an extensive range of fire rated doors, glass and fittings certified by the German DIN Standard. The glass can also be equipped with UV protection. With our numerous possibilities of glazing build-ups you can realize translucent, opaque, semi-transparent or even switchable elements.
Planners can choose from powder coating, stainless steel or aluminum covers for the frames. Single-wing or double-wing doors in the desired size can be flush integrated. We also offer a wide range of sliding doors. Thanks to special mounting elements – available in 90°, 135° or 180° angles – the connection of the individual elements is very flexible allowing effortless integration in existing buildings. Pre-fabricated components not only ensure uncomplicated mounting, they also allow for easy shifting or changes.
With its interaction of glass, inserts and frame system, OKAFRAME is a totally new, flexible interior fixtures system. OKALUX also offers support to architects and interior designers from the first idea to the final on-the-spot installation.
