Modular roomdividing panels, modular cabins and modular phone booths built from sound isolated and sound absorbing panels.
Still Design has succeeded to create a polymer filled with barium between two layers of fine pressed plywood. This sandwich panel has outstanding sound insulation quality, measuring only 21 mm. The panel will be covered on two sides with a high density polyester wool (20/40 mm) and will be padded with a fabric to even enhance sound absorption. Applying this panel will prevent a room from having a high reverberation time. Also, these panels are designed to be easily coupled to each other or a sound insulating glass panel. This completely modular wall system will not only provide in sound insulation between two rooms, but also absorbs sound in both rooms to create better acoustics. The panels are 600 mm wide and go up to 3050 mm height. Fixation of the panels is easy; The panels have a groove all the way round and are placed on a wooden plinth on the top and at the bottom. The panels are tailor-made which makes them suitable for every height. Additionally, the last panel in a complete wall will feature a different width and made bespoke. These multifunctional panels are utilized in the Modular Cabin en Phonebooth of the Still Design Collection.
