Spandrel glass panels are opaque, colored panels designed to hide the electrical and mechanical areas between the floors of a building. To opacify glass for use in a spandrel application, Goldray Glass has several decorative glass techniques to choose from, including: OPACI-COAT-300®, Digital Ceramic Printing, and Ceramic Frit.
The most commonly used coating for spandrel panels, OPACI-COAT-300® is a water-based, silicone glass coating that can be applied to any glass type to provide opacification.
