Employing a traditional binding technique without the use of adhesives, in combination with modern laser technology Svetoch allows for a playful penetration of light and creates a cozy and intimate ambience. The light is available in two different sizes as a pendant or as a floor lamp. Unlike in traditional craftsmanship, the lights are manufactured using flat pieces of the naturally velvety outside of the birchbark which is a modern adaptation of traditional processing. Working with the lighter outside of the bark is a way to celebrate the distinctive grain and coloring of the material. Being manufactured from a unique natural material, no two products are exactly the same, which is emphasized by contrasting accents.
