Sylva™ CLT Walls are part of the Sylva Kit by Stora Enso. Sylva is Stora Enso’s range of prefabricated wood-based products for low-carbon buildings. The Sylva kit includes everything needed to create a modern, sustainable wood structure. Their prefabricated walls are made of Cross-laminated timber (CLT), which, thanks to its ability to take high vertical loads, is ideal for load-bearing walls in low- to mid-rise buildings.

Sylva Walls are ready-to-fit walls that can be delivered with openings for windows, and doors pre-cut and ready for installation. These features ensure shorter set-up times and lower construction cost for the project.

CLT is highly rigid, so it can serve as a load-bearing and bracing function in shear walls in low- and mid-rise buildings. When performing a load-bearing function, it also has excellent load distribution.

Sylva™ wall elements can be delivered with openings for windows, and doors pre-cut and ready for installation.

Due to being cross-laminated, CLT has high dimensional stability. This limits in-plane shrinkage makes it possible to be produced in large dimensions, and is excellent for making long, uniform wall elements that can easily be fitted in place.
