All functions of the Cegano Conference Table Systems are now integrated into the Cegano Smart Table. This new table, which is available in 3 heights, will be the new hub of the contemporary business lounge. The trend of wireless freedom comes to life, not only with wireless charging (via the world renowned Qi Standard) of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Google Nexus4 or Nokia Lumia920, but also with wireless control and connection technology of digital video and audio to external sources such as FullHD-Displays or projector.
All that is needed for the table to communicate with its receiver is a standard outlet (110V-220V). The receiver is able to accommodate up to 4 HDMI inputs and can be used with displays or projector via different sources.
The control is accomplished with touch pads and are integrated into the top material (glass, Corian/HiMacs, HPL, Wood Veneer). Those can be individually labeled by the customer. It is assured that a simple change-over of connected sources, such screen mirroring of Apple or Samsung smartphones and tablets that are in the same Wifi zone or the use of the Intel WiDi standard (available in many new ultrabooks), is possible.
Of course, other sources such as TV receivers, digital signage systems or media players, can be connected as well. The flexible configuration of the system and the use of HDMI connectivity in close proximity of the transceiver makes this entire system not only fast and easily changeable but also future proof as new signal sources can be connected later on. The control and input technology is securely and fully integrated into the table top. Even spilled liquids cannot reach any of the electronic components. For those smartphones that do not yet have the wireless charging Qi standard, the table is fitted with adaptor systems from PowerKiss. Those will assure charging with Micro-USB, Apple 30pin, and soon, Apple Lighting adapter.
