Inspired by rich arabesque heritage, the striking interior is designed with walls in partly texture paint of subdue color and the other portion along with the floor border in artistically handcrafted zellige tiles of dynamic color as the foreground. It features an attractive Arabic wooden ceiling with impressive geometrical border in pistachio green paint combined with skillfully carved door in ethnic patterns, mashrabiya and arch décor. Wonderfully adorned with Moroccan round coffee table in glass top, Levantine mosaic octagon side table with gleaming ceramic lamp on top, large antique mirror hand-inlaid with mother of pearl and traditional brass chandelier, the fascinating room conveys a picture of a pleasant, blissful gathering where host and guest sits comfortably in the cozy, custom-made sofa of pistachio green plain upholstery paired with elegant silk curtains and colorful cushions in soft luxurious fabrics set on a wool and bamboo silk hand-knotted brown rug. A beautiful Moroccan / Arabic style ladies majlis concept for a private villa in Dubai. Interior Design by IONS DESIGN www.ionsdesign.com | [email protected] | Tel.: +971 4 4542675 | Dubai, UAE
