Custom Aluminium Planters – Durable, Lightweight and Versatile
The STEELAB SAS aluminium planters are manufactured with MIG welding, carefully finished, and then painted. The top edges are folded with a double return on flat designs or a simple fold for curved shapes.
Thanks to aluminium’s natural lightness and flexibility, these planters can be produced in large dimensions without handling difficulties or stability issues, even on uneven ground. Straight or curved – the design possibilities are endless.
Colors and finishes
Two finishing options are available depending on your project’s requirements:
Liquid paint: pickling, high-performance epoxy primer, polyurethane finish and varnish.
Powder coating: pickling, epoxy primer, polyester finish.
All RAL standard colors are available (excluding fluorescent and glitter), with custom shades upon request.
Materials and structure
We generally use aluminium from 2 to 5 mm thick: naturally rust-proof, lightweight, and long-lasting. It is the ideal choice for outdoor planters, widely recognized in horticultural applications. Variants in Corten® steel or stainless steel are also available.
Installation and water management
Planters are mounted with concealed anti-puncture pads ensuring even load distribution. Optional setups include anchoring, adjustable pedestals, legs, or castors (concealed or visible).
By default, the base is drainable, with optional waterproof bottoms, integrated water reservoirs, or technical passages for irrigation or lighting networks.
