Al Diwan Office Building is located in one of the most important Cairo›s expansion area. The shape of the building brakes the rule of street pattern giving the chance to have two main facades facing the main road and to create a small plaza. The curtain wall allows to take advantage of the natural light and to give flexibility to the interior spaces.
One of the main feature of the building is the organic pattern generated by the palm leaves’ intersection which influences the stones› work of one of the entrance, but mainly has been used to create a second skin. A separated flying structure that brakes the geometrical rules of the building gives to the main facades the necessary shadows.
The interior space is flexible and the modules› scheme gives the chance to use it for multiple solutions: from small independent offices to open space big company.
