ARB is a single family residential project located on top of a steep canyon in Beverly Hills, California. The project is anchored around a careful play between privacy, openness and topography. The more private top-floor shields itself strategically from the street side while the ground floor is simultaneously open to the canyon and closed off to the street side. A third guest wing is part of a basement floor that gradually emerges from the steep hill and ties itself into a cantilevering zero edge pool and private deck, maximizing view and architectural effect.
