The renovation involved a portion of a duplex built in the 1980s and its expansion. The project focused on achieving a building with construction characteristics and technical installations designed to ensure significant energy savings. This design places great emphasis on the use of natural materials.
Steel, in fact, dominates the entire expanded wall, both as cladding for the terrace and patio and as an external sunshade. The choice of solar shading was both aesthetic and functional, thanks to its vertical slats that protect from solar radiation and create airflow, helping to cool the south-facing façade.
