PERPETUAL MOTION

BC stock is an outlet store. The perpetual renewal of collections guided our approach. The project is designed as a production line in motion, radical expression of the direct access to the merchandise of the stock by the consumer. The project offers a contrast in between the commercial shell with industrial vocabulary to the intimate and sensitive spaces of the changing rooms.

INDUSTRIAL AND MODULAR SPACE

Hanged to the ceiling, an aerial conveyor of anodized aluminum belts carries the hangers from the store to the stock. The outline of this metal belt contniue throughout the store to display the collections at an accessible level for the clients. The industrial inspiration is declined through the surrounding walls finish: raw plaster boards and a concrete floor with stencil signage. Modular aluminum wall structures complete the display to allow a total flexibility of the presentation.

SENSITIVE DIVIDERS

Translucent vertical washi paper dividers are reminiscent of traditional Japanese partitions and punctuate the space integrating lighting fixtures. Stands and tables dedicated to folded clothes and accessories complete this more sensitive approach with a brown tinted MDF.

INTIMATE SPACES

The fitting rooms circled with a generous and cozy drape that brings sensuality to this space for a more intimate and sensitive journey.
