A sense of timelessness and simplistic harmony pervades the home, crafted to endure and adapt to the changing needs of modern family life.
Located halfway up the hill in Happy Valley, this residence boasts a breathtaking view of nature and the city. As a home for a family of four, the team's primary goal was to bring the pure, rustic atmosphere of nature into the living space, decorated with oak and walnut wall panels, as well as solid wood furniture crafted with exquisite and traditional craftsmanship. The addition of marble terrazzo and other features creates an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
The dining room, living room, kitchen, and terrace are connected together in a long rectangular floor plan, forming a vertically integrated public space. The kitchen has been redesigned with seamless glass doors that allow for natural light and airflow to permeate the space. During the day, natural light spills onto the light grey and white walls, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere reminiscent of a canvas. The window frames were also finished in white, blending in with the walls to provide a brighter and more open view.
A separate living area is also provided for each family member. To the left of the entrance is the couple's workspace, which is separated and discreetly hidden from the living area. The maid's room is positioned towards the rear of the kitchen, while the two sons' rooms are situated on either side of the master bedroom, perfectly dividing the living space according to different residents' needs.
