Immersed in a green oasis, far from urban chaos, Cabin X aims to be a solution for those looking for mental and physical well-being. The architectural exploration starts from the chromatic, material and finally formal study in order to guarantee a 360° sensorial experience.

Natural materials for the interior and resistant for the exterior. In fact, the protective shell is made using a seamed aluminium sheet, ensuring water tightness without the need for additional waterproofing layers. The alternation of the two colours derives from chromatic studies that best integrate the volume in a completely natural environment.

The interior is covered with multilayer wooden panels, with vibrant accents on the walls where curved profiles enrich the interplay of light.
The cabin has a dimension of 11 x 4,2 meters and a height of 3,6 meters at the highest point. Laminated wood is used for the structure, insulated with mineral wool.

The interior space is designed as a single environment, with the “T”-shaped functional block in the centre which manages to separate the three main areas: kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. A window that wraps along the roof offers a breathtaking view of the sky from your bed.

The experience continues with an extension towards the outside, where a large sliding window grants access to the panoramic terrace, allowing you to fully enjoy the surrounding greenery. The alternation of vertical elements serves to filter sunlight, ensure privacy, and most importantly, create the sensation of merging with nature.

A cradle-to-cradle approach, embracing the circular economy, guided the design process, leading to the creation of a building that uses natural and recyclable materials. Furthermore, the entire object can be disassembled into all its components and reassembled elsewhere, embodying the principles of respect for nature.
