CASA E2F private house

The plot is located in the northeast area of the growth outside the walls of the city of Seville, on one of the access corners to the small neighborhood of Árbol Gordo, characterized by self-built single-family homes between party walls on a traditional suburban-type plot.

The building is developed aligned to the road, resolving the interior free space through an open patio. Volumetrically, a massive prism of three heights is proposed that has a lower plinth that covers the entire ground floor and discreetly absorbs pedestrian access and the garage. The openings in the façade are grouped, offering the exterior a larger scale, different from the predominant one in the area and supported by geometry and compositional abstraction.

The three floors are perforated in the interior by means of a high-rise space, which serves as the backbone of the house, introducing light, ventilation and visual relationships. On the ground floor the most public rooms are established, with an L-shaped living room and kitchen, around the patio and separated by a large sliding door that allows them to be separated in a single gesture, we also have a toilet, storage room and garage. The patio becomes an extension of the adjoining rooms by means of flush carpentry and continuous flooring. Upstairs the night program is developed with three bedrooms, one of them main with dressing room and bathroom. Already on the attic floor we find another skylight reflecting the layout of the stairs, the study, facilities room, clothesline and a large terrace with an exit porch and a viewpoint with a visor that frames the view of roofs and antennas so suggestive of these neighborhoods. .
