The project balances mirror-image architectural symmetry with a tactile material palette, creating an elevated streetscape presence tailored to the coastal climate.
Volumetric Symmetry and Exterior Expression
The facade's composition centers on balance and horizontal layering. A grounded central vertical pillar clad in textured natural stone serves as the visual anchor between the two dwelling units. Flanking this spine, deep cantilevered upper-floor balconies feature warm slatted-wood soffits with integrated recessed downlighting, casting an intimate amber glow at dusk. Transparent glass balustrades maximize unobstructed views and daylight infiltration, framed by deep charcoal eaves and perimeter walls that define clear, protected thresholds for each entrance.
