Casa TAMAYO is a recently renovated modern-style family house which was built by the Tamayo Family in the mid 60s. Originally built by famous architect Carlos J. Calle in 1961 for the Tamayo-Vásquez family, it was renovated by four of their grandchildren: Victoria, Santiago, Esteban and Carlos García Tamayo (a Colombian Industrial Designer and entrepreneur who actually the head behind the project). This renovation was made preserving its architectonic essence and paying respect to the traditional neighborhood where is located: Conquistadores (Laureles) - Medellin.
