Located on Boisseau Street, Damien is a three-storey townhouse project that fits soberly into the dense urban setting of Saint-Sauveur. In the image of Dutch-inspired architecture, the ensemble incorporates some unique features of this innovative practice including the careful work of masonry, the interplay of textures and colors of brick, the simplicity of the materiality and the misalignment of the openings breaking with the traditional composition of the other buildings of the district. Offering either a garage or a potential home office on the street on the ground floor, the rooms are distributed on both sides of a central staircase that gives access to the living spaces located on the top floor in order to enjoy the abundant sunshine, a double-height ceiling and exposed structure in engineered wood and a roof terrace. At the rear, the facade offers a simple arrangement of light coatings and drillings to highlight the three large vegetated courtyards.
