DenPaku (伝泊) is a brand of tourist accommodations, founded by architect Yasuhiro Yamashita. It first started in Amami Oshima, a subtropical island in the south part of Japan., aiming to pass down traditional / legendary architecture, villages and culture to future generations.
The brand provides not only places for tourists to stay, but also immersive activities for tourists to interact with local people.
DenPaku The Beachfront MIJORA is the fourth brand in the DenPaku group, targeting high-end travelers. It is a modern interpretation of Amamian traditional wood roof, perched on a resolute, origami-like concrete structure, and a large floor-to ceiling window (actually the largest size possible to ship to the island) that connects the interior with the outdoor nature are the main architectural features of the villas.
Each villa has its own charm, even villas with the same floor plans has different moods, according to the position and the way the branches of screw-pine trees frame the view.
