This elegant newly built residence is located near the coast of San Vito, a typical fishing village in the town of Polignano a Mare. The facade of the building, close to the large rectangular swimming pool, opens towards the sea through large and bright Jansen anthracite steel windows with a minimal cut illuminated by LED lanterns. The house is surrounded by a splendid Mediterranean garden with palm trees and oleanders placed in tuff flowerbeds and bordered by dry stone walls. The project is characterized by the presence of a large internal courtyard paved in Trani stone, in which a rectangular mini swimming pool, a circular flowerbed housing a large olive tree and a staircase leading to the terrace have been created.

The square shape of the tub, equipped with a stone walkway suspended over the water, contrasts well with the sinuous lines of the large arch that outlines the glass entrance to the house. Inside, the courtyard also features a relaxation area with light fabric sofas and a dining area with a wooden table and metal and rope chairs, all made by a local craftsman. An imposing light oak door, illuminated by black toldbod lamps and marked by the presence of two typical Apulian terracotta amphorae, allows entry to the courtyard from the outside.

The interiors, also paved in Trani stone like the exteriors, are very bright and full of character: the refined furnishing choices, in fact, are based on the contrast between minimal and contemporary elements and vintage and local antique accessories. In the living area there is an elegant reconstructed stone table with cylindrical feet, made by a local craftsman with Fritz Hansen chairs in black leather, illuminated by a choreographic rope chandelier.

The wooden wall kitchen with black reconstructed stone worktop has an island counter in front in dark oak wood with vintage stools. A particular sculpture created by a young local artist is artfully placed on the kitchen wall. Behind the island counter, a glass hatch with a hinged opening has been created on the floor, from which it is possible to access the stone wine cellar underneath. The sleeping area consisting of three bedrooms with related stone bathrooms is accessed via a corridor with niches on the wall overlooking the courtyard.
