Rising as a 110-story “vertical haven”, the tower rethinks high-rise living as a sequence of social and spatial experiences distributed throughout its height. A subtle vertical slit and integrated amenity volumes articulate the tower’s massing, creating distinct moments of community, wellness, leisure, and retreat. DWTN Residences responds to a key ambition: to redefine the experience of vertical living.
Situated in Business Bay, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Mustaqbal Street, the tower rises within Dubai’s evolving skyline. Responding to a city where life, work, leisure, and wellness increasingly overlap, the design translates this urban lifestyle into a vertical community. Among the skyscrapers of Business Bay and Downtown Dubai, its slender proportions and refined silhouette accentuate its height and establish a distinct presence among the surrounding towers.
Three glass volumes are introduced as “moments in the sky” at different levels along the tower’s height, housing key amenity spaces within the vertical composition. By interrupting the tower’s continuous vertical expression, they create moments of pause and activity across its height. Their transparency brings lightness to the massing while giving each amenity level a distinct presence within the skyline. Together, these interventions transform the tower from a singular expression of height into a layered vertical journey.
