ELECTRIC BLUE 1.42

Lemonme Interior as Interior Architects

Bright, expressive, bold - this is how you can describe the #electricblue42 project

The owners of this apartment also stand out among the majority of customers for their courage in making decisions.

First of all, I was inspired by their attitude to rich colors in the apartment. At the very first meeting, I formed an association of this young couple with clean, bright blue. Imagine my surprise when they themselves brought examples of "blue" modern interiors as references for their residence!

Secondly, clients were open to complete redevelopment.
The location of the apartment on the 2nd floor allowed us to make drastic changes. We combined miniature rooms into an open space and changed the location of the kitchen and bedroom.

Now, entering the apartment, there is a large enough hallway (especially for an apartment with an area of 40 square meters). From the entrance, you can immediately see the "heart" of the house - the kitchen, and the bedroom is hidden from guests in a conventional niche.

The kitchen has plenty of useful storage and a 3.3 meter long work surface. The dining table seats up to 6 people.

We abandoned partition walls and turned two supporting columns in the middle of the apartment from a disadvantage to an advantage. One column was decorated with chipboard panels, the second was hidden between cabinets. Now the bedroom and the hall are separated by a set of wardrobes, part of which is oriented to the entrance group, and the other part is oriented to the private area of the bedroom. The bed, located on the podium, also provides a place to store seasonal clothes.

Basic white, electric blue, wood texture and avant-garde Ceramica Fioranese Ghiaia tiles are very well combined in this project.

Accent lighting from the Ukrainian brand Plus Kouple of the Belt series perfectly matched the shade of blue. The Drommel H dining table was chosen for its visual "lightness", good dimensions and attractive price.

I like to combine Italian and Ukrainian tiles, Scandinavian and Ukrainian interior items, I have a fondness for Ikea. For example, these Ikea Odger chairs are made of plastic, but they have an incredibly comfortable fit.

The Roshe Olli sofa has excellent geometry, folding function and additional storage. The white metal Fit side table from Kint Bureau matches the sofa. Another bold accent is the POLOSY rug from Shishka Project in a rich blue color with bright details.

Rounding out the kit, we purchased a hall stool, aka "stool for unexpected guests", aka Normann Copenhagen's Bit Stool Cone Blue coffee table.

Thirdly and finally, repairs continued during a full-scale invasion - that's faith in the future!
