A wide interior is arranged through an unique spiral element that remembers the complex geometry of an "ammonite". A curved wall – at times continuous, at times interrupted by large breaks - creates separation and merge between the different functions and areas. The result is surprisingly dynamic: all the functional spaces orbit around the central nucleus (an elicoidal column), in a perfect balance of centripetal and centrifugal forces. The lighting system, almost entirely hidden and "smart", draws attention to the aerial presence of the "fossil structure" and creates suggestive light and dark accents. A comfortable microclimate is provided in all conditions by a fully-integrated (and invisible) air conditioning system, also thanks to the high insulation of the building envelope.
