In an interior design project dedicated to a young client of just seven years old, the need for space to house his Lego collection was the starting point. This room, in addition to being a personal refuge for Francisco, also aims to meet a variety of other needs, transforming itself into a true universe that is both playful and functional in equal measure. Francisco is passionate about Lego, football and skateboarding and his greatest wish was for the new room to reflect his passions. We sought to materialize all of Francisco's passions and needs in the design of the room. The result was so moving that, when he saw the finished space, he could not contain the tears of emotion and joy.

The main challenge was to accommodate all the requests in a limited space. In addition to Francisco's requests, his mother emphasized the need to provide a suitable place for studying, with space for a computer, a reading corner and a double bed.

A creative solution was to integrate the balcony into the bedroom, significantly expanding the total usable area of the room. By removing the access door that divided the balcony from the bedroom and relocating a new door to separate only the air conditioning unit, a new configuration emerged.

To complete the leveling of the floor with a good finish and without major construction, a carpet was installed around the study area and also on the side of the bed. The chosen covering was the Finesse line by Belgotex for Franttone Office, a sophisticated, durable and practical option that added the necessary comfort to the environment.

The positioning of the new double bed also played a crucial role in the proposed adjustments to the new floor plan. To provide a good setback, the bed was strategically placed against two walls, serving as a sofa filled with cushions during the day and taking on its main role at night. This arrangement created a mini TV room, optimizing the use of space and allowing the room to be used right in front of the TV.

Above the headboard, we placed the picture frame that is a special memory for the family, while on the other wall, we fixed racks to store their skateboards. Next to the bed, 2 side tables were requested to accommodate special rituals for the mini client: one to store his glasses before going to sleep and another to put water in. Request granted!

The dresser and closet were already there and were kept in the room, observing the adaptation of the lacquering to the new color of the carpentry. In order to offer an excellent finish while maintaining the continuity of the design, a camouflaged carpentry door hides the bathroom in the suite. Right next door is a custom cabinet with Lego pieces that reveal the attention Francisco pays to his hobbies.

The space on the previous balcony now houses a cozy reading corner with shelves filled with your favorite books and a special lamp to provide moments of relaxation with soft light and a cozy atmosphere.

Right in front of the reading chair is the study space, designed for concentration and research.

The desk takes center stage across the entire space, from end to end, serving as a study area as well as a leisure and games area. Divided by a drawer that holds Lego pieces in dividers, the carpentry shop also offers other customized solutions such as pencil holders, power outlets and charging stations for video games and other devices.

To highlight the Lego collection, the shelves with double lighting profiles provide a unique visual effect and accommodate toys of various sizes and models.

The magnetic board lacquered in the same color as the panel resulted in a harmonious look with complete integration. Virtually invisible, the board serves to pin up reminders, creations and special memories as a practical solution without visual pollution.

Finally, there's nothing like Uniflex blinds with pleated cells and blackout to protect your windows. In addition to improving acoustics and providing thermal comfort, the blinds have the electric drive that Francisco so desired. This means that with just a few clicks you can control the sunlight and the desired ambiance for each occasion.
