Fletcher Hotels wished to have a landmark location for serving its guests in the Amsterdam region. Architect Benthem Crouwel yielded a spectacular cylindrical building with a curved façade of 2850 m².

The curved façade elements measure 7 x 3.5m and have a thickness of 150mm. Another novelty is the finishing of the façade elements, rather than regular painting the finishing is made entirely with façade foil. The façades RC value is 8 and the acoustic attenuation is 45 db.
