The goal of this project was to create a prototype for the transformation of a urban house into a small apartments building. This typological change typically stands for the transformation of cities today.

The main gesture was to assemble all technical programmes into one compact and vertical block. That block becomes the structuring element of the different apartments. The wooden ”moucharabieh“ becomes the implicit limit between the vertical block and the living space.
