The housing features primitive scent of home without unwanted elements, presenting an atmosphere similar to that of Nature’s rough smell of the soil, plain but everlasting. This feature makes residents in the comfortable living space carefree.
The riverside scenery was extended along the site. The long green belt of horizon penetrates into the room. In the continuous open space, the horizontal windows were lowered to introduce spectacular natural scenery, bringing in a fluid image of light and shadow into the long space. In the full open space, the living room, dining space, and kitchen island were connected through family members’ interactions. The turning points were planned as reading and working areas, providing the space with more flexible use. The conserved, simple tone was expanded through the texture and color of the materials. The intricate and detailed usage plans of wood, stone, terrazzo, and metal collided with one another, swaying between sense and sensibility, and infusing the contemporary spirit into conventional design materials.
