This small intervention in the rear part of an Eixample flat aims to transform what is normally a service area into a core of the house, if somewhat off-centred. A place to be, instead of a space to hide.
The ensemble of windows and furniture is given a distinguishable character by the winding pattern in the lower part, almost imperceptible from the outside, which creates a dynamic atmosphere of movements on the interior as the windows are opened or shut.
A bench on the bottom is also a shelf. The piece goes beyond the idea of limit, a frontier between interior and exterior, to become a catalyst for life and activity.
