With construction completed in 2009, the GM House represents a quality in lifestyle accompanied with simplicity and absolute comfort at an affordable price. We were asked to design the interiors of this house, located on the outskirts of Warsaw, Poland. The key factors were to create a space using elegant and modern finishes, but most importantly keeping to a very limited budget. Much of the house is finished with a simple white render, allowing touches of dark timber and cool glass to create contrasts and warmth. To keep to the budget, most of the furniture is custom designed and kept to simple construction methodologies and finishes. The main living area is all open plan, allowing a constant flow of natural light, with views into the forest located directly in front. The three bedroom house also consists of three bathrooms, one of which is on-suite and has a Jacuzzi spa and sauna room.
