The Haier Polska project was genuinely new territory for us, both in the functional challenge it set and in how we had to think about the space. It is an office and a showroom in one building, and neither function was allowed to compromise the other.
The centrepiece is a showroom for two brands, Haier and Candy. That meant two adjacent kitchen zones, visually distinct but reading as a coherent whole — and one very concrete problem: fitting more than 70 appliances into clean, well-resolved cabinetry.
Each zone carries its own visual character and states its brand clearly, and the two can be opened up and combined for presentations, meetings, social media shoots, or simply a quiet coffee and some work.
Beyond the showroom is a full office: open-plan workspaces, private offices, a generous reception, focus rooms and conference rooms. One meeting room looks directly onto a multi-storey display of televisions then launching on the Polish market. The effect is hard to ignore.
At the centre of the office sits a large staff kitchen opening into a relaxation zone. With dedicated irrigation and lighting systems, it became home to a substantial collection of living plants — the element that keeps a building full of appliances feeling like somewhere people work rather than a retail floor.
