To construct a contemporary family home for a family in the Belgian countryside

Blending with the farm / barn / heritage style in the countryside and get a contemporary spin on its language.
What materials did you choose and why?
- Bricks: Belgium + Bricks, finished with a chalk paint
- Oak wood, stained in black
- Vintage rectangular roof tiles
- Terra cotta flooring
