In São Paulo, a 526m2 penthouse designed by the BZP Arquitetura office, led by Bia Prado, for a young newly married couple who loves to receive friends. The concept of this project brings a modern architecture, with contemporary decoration seen in integrated spaces that focus a lot on the social life of the couple. The use of marble and wood brought the nobility to the cozy and intimate environments.
Among the main architectural resolutions, there are sliding and pivoting wooden panels - where it is possible to integrate or not the dining room with the other spaces. Being a roof, the outdoor area was a great challenge so that it would not become an area of little use, and contemplated a pool and barbecue area that would talk to the rest of the house. For the architect Bia Prado, the main highlight of the apartment are the panels of the dining room and the infinity pool made of limentonebaiteg blue - next to the living frame.
The furniture has highlights such as the Banquete armchair, by the Campana Brothers, Zanotta - William armchair (black in the living room), glass armchair by Jaqueline Terpins, Daniela chairs, by AristeuPires (in the dining room), and Proust armchair, by Magis , all found at Firma Casa
Rooms: five suites, exercise room, living room with 3 rooms, intimate room, home theater, exercise room.
Configuration of the new plant: Changes were made to the external area of the pool, removal of walls and alteration of doors for better circulation.
About the pivoting panels: The panels, made of ironwood wood, are pivoting and sliding. Customers wanted darker wood. Therefore, the choice of this type. They were created because, being a large room, they make the dining room more sectorized, making it also more private and cozy. Therefore, also the use of wood - to further heat the environment.
