The BSA Design & Build team has brought a tropical design infused with the distinct character of Singapore to life at the JUMBO Seafood 2 restaurant. Located in the bustling center of Ho Chi Minh City, stepping inside feels like entering a lush, green forest with fresh, tranquil air—a stark contrast to the energetic urban surroundings.
With a vision to create a green sanctuary in the city, BSA transformed this idea into reality by crafting a refreshing tropical forest ambiance within a modern, luxurious space that still maintains the unique identity of the original Singaporean restaurant.
At JUMBO Seafood 2, guests can experience the captivating atmosphere of the "Lion City" right in Saigon. The iconic symbols of Singapore, combined with greenery, give the restaurant its distinct character.
Achieving a Green Architectural Concept in Restaurant Construction
The design challenge from the investor to BSA was to bring sophistication and a sense of relaxation for diners, while ensuring separation and a hint of mystery. Plants were integrated into the design to create a refreshing atmosphere amid the city’s heat, offering diners a cool and relaxing space to enjoy exquisite cuisine.
Surrounding breeze blocks combined with CNC steel accents resembling a forest pattern create a mysterious garden, enhancing interior privacy. Natural light and plants work together to create a vibrant green space in the urban heart of the city, with carefully selected tropical plants decorating the restaurant’s open areas.
Impressive Restaurant Interior Design
The restaurant interior combines elegant shades of orange and white with modern, luxurious touches, providing a refined dining experience. The chic decor and warm lighting add depth to the space, maximizing the views and seamlessly bringing natural light and greenery indoors.
Each interior and exterior detail has been meticulously crafted to enhance private spaces, while allowing for flexibility to adapt to usage needs. Spaces like corridors and stairways are adorned with sculptures, artwork, and carefully selected decor, adding vibrancy and appeal to the overall restaurant ambiance.
