Tuborg Harbor is centrally located in a district characterized by a large variation of housing, offices and retail shops, and provides space for approximately 360 recreational boats. The yacht club is placed as the central element in the harbor, with a fantastic view of the entire harbor, the quay and Øresund. The yacht club’s central placement also divides the harbor into the two basins – the inner basin and the outer basin.

The yacht club is placed on the site as a ‘folded’ roof with large, open, north-facing facades towards the harbor and Øresund. The ‘folding’ roof closes the building towards the housing area south of the yacht club, except for large openings such as the main entrance.

The yacht club includes a restaurant and café with adjoining terraces. In addition, the yacht club contains a harbor office, administration and club facilities. The gross area of the yacht club is approximately 1000 m2.

The yacht club will be constructed as a timber and steel structure. The building’s exterior surfaces are predominantly timber decks, glass facades and the black asphalt roof surface. The architecture is dominated on the interior by timber flooring, glass facades and glass partition walls, timber-clad walls and timber slat ceiling cladding.
