KEMERBURGAZ SALES OFFICE & CLUB HOUSE

Architectural& Interior Design

The purpose of the sales office building, owned by Emlak Konut, in Kemerburgaz was initially to serve as a "sales office" for a housing project, and later to be transformed into a "social facility." The aim was to create a balanced design that harmonizes with nature and caters to different functions.

The building was intended to preserve the unique character of its surroundings while also engaging in a dialogue with the ongoing construction of contemporary residential structures. Additionally, it aimed to become a landmark in the area, leaving a lasting impression that is associated with its function.

The structure is located within a triangular plot in the middle of a forest. The goal was to maximize the use of the land within the framework of the program requirements and achieve an internal-external integration through a semi-open and closed space layout. A strong roof and eave design, along with an exposed simple structure, were created to accommodate various functions. The idea of creating a singular roof structure where users could gather for different purposes formed the conceptual basis that guided the architectural form.

In the interior design, simplicity, functionality, and fluidity were emphasized. An open-plan layout was created under the main roof covering, while spaces requiring privacy were concealed behind wooden panel walls. Steel structures were utilized to maximize natural light and the exceptional natural scenery, allowing for large openings and spacious windows.

The building is surrounded by semi-open terraces and reflecting pools, providing opportunities for various activities. Various artworks were incorporated both inside the building and in the landscape. Considering functional requirements, the physical space was intended to transform into a spiritual and emotional retreat, allowing visitors to savor the unique poetic and artistic meaning with simplicity and tranquility. The design aimed to transcend the boundaries between tradition and modernity, dreams and reality, merging aesthetics with life. In the midst of the hectic pace of modern cities, a spiritual home was designed, where people leading busy lives could embrace nature and their true selves in an artistic and balanced environment.
