The Khoram Garden is a historical garden located in the city of Kerman. This garden was privately owned by Mr. Khoram, who lived there with his family. After his passing, the garden was divided among his children, and part of the mansion and a section of the garden were allocated to one of his daughters. His grandchildren decided to use the garden as a historical accommodation.
Thus, this place was transformed into a space for guests and tourists. We were entrusted with the design of this project. After necessary evaluations, we decided to convert this location into a boutique hotel. We categorized the spaces that needed to be added. Since new construction in a historical building has specific regulations, we decided to reconstruct the northern entrance of the house, which had been demolished, and use it as the reception area.
On the southern side, there was an annexed entrance that held no historical value. Therefore, we designed the remaining essential spaces, such as management, a reception hall, and service areas, across two levels: a basement and a ground floor, taking into account the existing architectural style of the building. We also designed a new entrance. Additionally, we designed the garden area to restore the ambiance of the garden as it once was. We look forward to your feedback.
