The residence is located in a corner lot in Southampton, a small neighborhood near Rice University. The house orientation opens to the side street with a walled courtyard and expansive Live Oak trees. The house is Tudor in style and maintains the scale and historic eclecticism of the neighborhood. Brick with a slurry finish, limestone accents, wood casement windows, and redwood details were used throughout the exterior. The interior is illuminated by a leaded-glass skylight that floods the entrance stair hall with light.
