The longues vues project draws its essence from its site, a narrow strip of land open at its end to the panorama of Lake St-Louis.
It is the qualities of the view, the existing canopy and the narrowness of the land that here have induced the morphology of the house.

In order to offer a view of the lake to all the spaces that make it up, the project is split into two bodies of transparent buildings, implanted in a row. The house is thus, in the literal sense, a longue vue, a telescope.
Architecture of context but not mimetic, the architectural composition alternates mineral garden, mass of brick, planted garden, volume of glass and natural garden open to the panorama, offering a dynamic journey between architecture and nature, blurring the limits between interior and exterior, between the building, the gardens and the vast expanse of the lake.
