Visualization by 100CGI Studio with Inc Solutions: a VR tour of the Siro One Za'abeel lobby in Dubai, 43 camera positions across 3,300 sq ft of space that did not exist yet, delivered in 28 days.
An unbuilt space rules out a scan, and that puts the weight on the model. The whole environment came out of the design drawings, and every material had to hold up when somebody stops and looks closely, which is exactly what a stakeholder does in a lobby they are signing off. The tour carries 15 interactive hotspots and runs in a browser.
The honest rule for panoramas is not how many, but how close together they sit. A viewer should land somewhere natural every few steps, so a compact suite needs surprisingly many positions and a long corridor almost none. Too few is the tell of a cheap tour: the navigation jumps and the sense of walking the space collapses. Here 3,300 sq ft took 43 of them.
