Visualization by 100CGI Studio for Kitt Offices: a refurbished loft office on Great Sutton Street in Clerkenwell, London, with exposed brick walls and timber roof trusses. A 360 tour with 44 camera positions and 9 stills were delivered in 14 days, while the refurbishment was still under way.
A heritage building is let on atmosphere, not dimensions. No floor plan carries the warmth of old brick or the height of a roof truss, and photographs of an unfinished refurbishment show a building site. The panoramas were therefore built at 8K and tuned to run on a phone, so a tenant can get a feel for the loft from anywhere.
The test is whether a tenant trusts what the browser shows. Kitt's leasing manager described the tour as indistinguishable from being there, and on a refurbishment that depends on the brickwork and the roof holding up at close range, which is why these panoramas carry more resolution than a new-build set would need.
