Mandarin Oriental 01 is a 240 m² residence within the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum. The aim was a calm, contemporary atmosphere. The plan includes a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom, a guest room with its own bathroom, a single room, a spacious living room and a closed kitchen with a laundry area. All rooms open onto a 40 m² terrace, the focal point of the house, overlooking the clear water of the bay. Wood panelling on the walls and ceilings, made with different craft techniques, textures and finishes, gives the spaces a continuous look. Each room has its own custom-designed furniture: solid wood, metal and marble combined with comfortable, mostly handcrafted upholstered pieces. escapefromsofa's own designs, Artemide light fixtures and Hunter ceiling fans complete the interior.
