Media & entertainment company in Madrid

M Moser Associates as Architects

What was the brief?
Experiential encounters begin the moment you walk through the door at the M Moser-designed regional HQ of this global media &entertainment company.

Blending its universal reputation for entertainment with local influences, the Madrid office design fosters a brand-led approach, providing culturally-curated inspiration for users and visitors alike.

The workplace serves to communicate the company’s position as an industry leader, fostering regional relationships and expanding business within the market.

A forward-thinking work environmentthat caters to a progressive workforce for collaborating and generating original content.

What were the key challenges?
As one of the strongest drivers of innovation in the workplace and a key value of the client’s culture, creating spaces dedicated to the support of diversity was paramount. Variations in styles and locations of work settings activate unlimited collaboration and intelligent knowledge sharing.

Creating a large, open work zone allows for increased seating capacity as the regional team grows. Meeting rooms were offset and we allowed for extra rooms to begin with, rather than expensive retro-fitting and splitting of meeting rooms, enabling the space to dilate organically.

Future floorplan solutions were provided for the company’s day two expectations of exponential growth. We circumvented the feeling of an empty workspace by including collaborative team lounges and utilising marketing props to further embed the brand within the environment.

What materials did you choose and why?
Colourful, comfortable and inspiring were key concepts for Madrid’s aspirational new workplace. We supported this by interlacing Spanish references of plazas and paseos to create collaborative destination spaces and wide corridors doubling as casual conversation space and circulation.
