Along the history of Tbilisi’s development, the right bank of Mtkvari had more defined and regulated architectural development than the left bank. This tendency is clearly visible even today - in light of ever-growing urbanization, the left bank is developing steadily, without considering local context. Because of this, while working on this project on Samtredia Street we intended to create a precedent of correct district planning.

According to the project concept, the object will become a symbolic landmark and will enrich the city’s urban morphology with creative value. The building will have residential, commercial, recreational, and office spaces. The shape of the complex was dictated by the location - to ensure that the building wouldn’t cut off air circulation, two volumes are separated by a void. We hope that the complex will transform the existing environment and serve as a quality standard for future constructions.
