IDEOLOGY & INTRODUCTION:

Located in Kamla Mills, Lower Parel, the idea behind was to create a space that becomes the cultural home of the millennial generation. This area houses a number of upscale residential neighborhoods, major landmark real estate developments and corporate headquarters. The building compound that

is now known as the oasis has become a sort of restaurant and eateries hub for this area of the metropolis. These restaurants located in Kamla Mills are set in the old inherited architecture of the Mill buildings, bringing about an interesting character to the environment.

CLIENT’S BRIEF:

The client’s brief, was to stand apart yet create a space that can easily accommodate and transform as per various events and also showcase MTV in all its glory. Taking the client’s brief as the foundation, team Chromed let their imaginations run wild and hence the idea of a café that literally ‘flips’ came into being which is now a wonderland of colour and pop art.
