The NLO’s move to new offices in The Hague was the perfect opportunity to transition from a traditional office environment to an open and transparent office concept. The results of the architect café, a comprehensive design workshop with the NLO, were used as the foundation for an interior design in which spaces blend into each other through flowing, organic forms. The floors are connected through an internal stairway, leading from “noise” at the core to “calm” further out. And no one has a private office.
