This is an office of F.O.B. Association, Kyoto based architect Katsu Umebayashi's office. In his office called "Organ", Agaho door handle 9040 is installed.
Most items in the Agaho series is made of aluminum. He describes the charm of Agaho series as follows. "When you touch it, you can feel its fine-grained texture. The sharpness of the edge is also remarkable. The corners are not rounded, though this makes it more difficult to remove from the mold. This degree of accuracy is difficult to achieve in mass-produced items."
According to the designer of Agaho, Mitsunobu Hozumi, Agaho gives a minimalist impression, but its neutrality makes it easy to fit with any architecture. Also, a great deal of time and effort is spent on displaying the characteristic natural colors and textures of aluminum.,
