As the final completed building on the campus of Faison Center in Richmond, Virginia, Pioneer Hall accommodates a day program for autistic adults. On the second floor, students learn basic life skills, while the ground floor serves as a behavioral clinic.
Architectural firm Baskervill has been involved with the Faison Center since its inception in the late 90s. The firm not only designed the original building that became the first component of the campus, but reimagined the structure to better suit the center's needs.
Pioneer Hall, completed in late 2023, complements the center's other colorful buildings with beautiful, durable and safe ALPOLIC materials. Advanced Exterior Systems fabricated two MCM finishes, Clear Anodized and Pearlescent Orange, to clad the exterior, canopies, and column covers.
