Pire Pytã House

A single-family home that is located in the city of Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, in a consolidated neighborhood called Villa Aurelia.

We propose a single-family home according to the needs of the principal, and we solve it on the one hand by reusing the foundations of an abandoned pre-existence, and on the other by generating a dialogue with the large tree on the sidewalk through vertical openings on the façade. The interior spaces are diffusely illuminated by profilit openings through the vertical circulations through a setback towards the boundary, in addition to a double-height spatial relationship that maximizes the social space.

The cantilevered displacement of PA generates a semi-roof for the automobile, respecting the mandatory withdrawal, the great problem of our Latin American cities, inefficient public transport that shapes urban architecture, on the other hand, the brick texture seeks a dialogue with the neighboring texture, tying and promoting urban unity.

The materials used are local, semi-pressed brick, exposed concrete, standard openings, recycled brace doors as furniture, led lighting and a ceramic vaulted ceiling. The gallery with the grill is a sector that expands and integrates the social interior that is defined by the tree in the background.

And with the desire to be honest with the materials, with the construction and the technique, we expose several x-rays of the technique so that it is understood how the house is built.
